Viper or Compustar — which do I need?

We install both and pick by the car. Compustar is the usual choice on Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler, where a copied unlock can beat a siren, because the ignition kill stays on when you walk away. Viper is the usual choice on Ford, GMC, and fleet vehicles, with an ignition kill you turn on. Text Nick the year, make, and model and he will point you to the right one.

Why are Jeeps, Kias, and Hondas stolen so often?

Those cars show up on theft lists in Los Angeles, Long Beach, the South Bay, and Orange County because the attack is specific. A relay or a copied fob signal can start some of them without breaking a window. A siren does not stop that. An ignition kill, placed in the factory loom, does. Toyota, Kia, and Honda get the same conversation as Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler.

What is an ignition kill?

An ignition kill interrupts the starter so the car does not crank unless your remote is present. The siren still makes noise. The kill is the part that keeps the car in the spot. We hide the module so it is not sitting under the dash where someone can find it in seconds.

Can remote start work on push-to-start cars?

Yes, on most push-to-start cars. Many late models need a bypass module so the factory immobilizer stays happy, and we say that before we book the bay. Slots are 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Text Nick the year, make, and model to confirm your car.

Do you install on European cars?

Generally no, except older models. Most European cars need modules we do not stock, and we would rather say so before you drive over. Text Nick the year, make, and model if yours is an older car and he will tell you if the bay can take it.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes. A Payment Plan is available. Open the Payment Plan page to apply, or text Nick and he will send the link. Booking a slot does not take a deposit.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Book a slot or text Nick. Same-day is possible if you arrive at 9:30 opening, Monday through Saturday. Sunday the shop is closed.

Can I drop my car off overnight?
