Orange questions we hear
Do you install a rear camera as well as the front one?
Yes. The rear camera mounts at the back glass and its cable follows the headliner to the front unit, so there is nothing hanging in the cabin. Two-channel systems cover a rear-end collision and someone walking up behind the car.
Can the dash camera and a Viper alarm go in the same day?
They can, and it saves an extra trip from Orange. Both need the trim opened, so we run the camera cable and the alarm wiring in the same pass. The Viper 3108V is $699 installed, as of October 2026, on top of the camera.
What if my battery is small or the car sits for a week at a time?
We set the cutoff voltage conservatively and explain the parking-mode options so the camera does not run the battery down. On a car that sits for long stretches, a lower cutoff or timed parking mode is the right call.
How is the drop-off handled for someone driving in from Orange?
Book a time, bring the car, and either wait at the shop or hand over the keys and come back when we call. Before you leave, the camera is tested, the footage is checked and the app is set up on your phone. Drivers come to this shop from over 100 miles away for security installs, so the run up from Orange is routine.
